Captec are innovative designers and manufacturers of ruggedised computer systems that can be deployed anywhere, regardless of operating environment.

Our expertise is to design and manufacture computers that operate reliably, over a long life, in any environment, engineering protection for any one of many stress factors such as temperature extremes, shock, vibration, dust, fluids and much more. We are increasingly developing computing platforms at the edge of technology in Mobile Computing (Ruggedised Tablet Computers), IoT computing (Internet of Things) and Wearable computing applications, with embedded software and cloud connectivity for use across a wide range of industries from retail to defence.

We have been established since 1985 and were founded by a Southampton ECS alumnus. Our Headquarters and operations are locally in Fareham. We also have international operations in Canada and in the USA and offer opportunities for travel and work abroad when appropriate.

We are looking for innovative graduate talent to add to our technical teams both on hardware, embedded and Web/Cloud software development. We also offer internship and placement opportunities for students with interests aligned with our core project focus.
