Group Engineering Services (GES) is a part of BT that sits within our Security team, developing innovative solutions to help make sure BT stays compliant with our legal obligations to Governments and law enforcement throughout the world.
In its direct customer facing role, GES undertakes a huge amount of research. For example, right now we’re looking into: visualisation of massive data sets, scalable multi-core mesh architectures, real- time data processing and investigations into security vulnerabilities.
GES research provides a platform for a varied delivery programme of bespoke network, security and software engineering solutions in specialist areas, such as anti-cyber-crime, threats to our national infrastructure, security for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond.
