Electronics and Computer Science runs a dedicated scholarship scheme based on rewarding the very best applicants and students: £1,000 if you exceed our top offer for your programme.
To receive our Merit Scholarship you will need to apply for the scholarship by 31 August 2016, exceed our top offer, and gain the following grades as a minimum at A-level or equivalent when applying to these programmes:

The University offers a wide range of scholarships and funding for talented international students.
In addition to the funding provided by ECS and the University, our students also have the opportunity to be sponsored by companies during their degree programmes.
ECS has a strong relationship with leading employers, providing its own ECS Careers Hub to inform students of summer placement and graduate opportunities, as well as holding its own annual Careers Fair exclusively for our students. This is attended by high-tech, blue chip, and international companies, keen to employ our students for the knowledge and skills they have developed during their courses.
Southampton is a member of the UK Electronics Skills Foundation (UKESF). UKESF offers scholarships to students studying BEng and MEng degrees in electronics or electronic engineering. Scholarships are open to students in any year of their degree, except the final year.

Students studying Electronic Engineering are eligible to apply for bursary funding from The Sonardyne Foundation. Successful applicants will receive grants from the Sonardyne Foundation to cover the cost of their tuition fees for the duration of their course.
